Maletsunyane Water Fall, Semonkong

The National University of Lesotho
The oldest university in Lesotho, is located in Roma. In 2016 researchers found a dinosour footprint (one of the biggest in the world) during a field trip in the Roma Valley near the University of Lesotho.

The Thaba Bosiu Cultural Village
Situated in Motloang and is based at the foot of the Thaba Bosiu highland. It is a national monument for its significance as the historical birthplace of the Basotho people.

The Kome Caves
A group of cave dwellings made out of mud in the district of Berea. The caves are still inhabited by the descendants of the original people who built the caves. The site has been classified as a National Heritage Site.

Ts’ehlanyane National Park
The Park has an altitude ranging from 1940 to 3112 metres and is considered mostly sub-alpine. It owes its origin to the access road to the Hlotse tunnel as part of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project.

Katse is the highest dam in Africa, is also one of the world’s ten largest concrete arch dams in terms of volume. The dam is in the Maluti Mountains and is part of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project.

We do transfers to the start of trails at the bottom of the highest peak in Southern Africa, the highest peak in Lesotho, THABANA INTLANYANA. We do guided tours of the Semonkong Waterfall area and drive across to chain ladders over Thugela Falls. We offer Afri Ski trips in winter on safe, driveable roads. The flowers to be seen along the way are quite spectacular and are a flower photographers dream.
